This department is responsible for planning and actually executing the transportation of goods from the factory to the customer in the most efficient and safest way. This requires a high degree of precision and organization.

 

1. Coordination of Domestic and International Shipping of Final Products:

After the production process is complete, this department is responsible for coordinating the dispatch of goods, whether within Egypt (locally) or for export (internationally).
It communicates with reliable shipping companies and arranges loading and delivery schedules.

2. Planning Transportation Methods Based on Customer Destination:

The department determines the most suitable transportation method depending on the order quantity and distance:

  • Local trucks for customers within Egypt.

  • Containers, sea freight, or air freight for international shipments.
    This planning is done to ensure the lowest possible cost and the fastest delivery time.

3. Shipment Tracking:

Each shipment is closely monitored in real-time to ensure it is moving according to the planned schedule.
GPS tracking systems are used, or progress reports are requested from the shipping company.

4. Ensuring Product Safety During Transportation:

Products are packaged in a way that protects them from breakage or damage (e.g., shrink wrap, secured pallets, cardboard dividers, etc.).
In some cases, international shipments are insured for additional protection.

5. Preparation of Export Documents:

If the shipment is for export, the department prepares all required documentation, such as:

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Bill of Lading

  • Certificate of Origin

  • Heat Treatment or Wood Fumigation Certificate
